‘It is finished’ is the good news of Easter.
We are no longer fumbling in the dark trying to find and know God;
we are no longer running on the endless wheel trying to earn favour with God;
And we are no longer without help or without hope.
In dying and rising, Jesus declares the work to save is now ‘finished’.
