What is Jesus’s heart towards sinners and sufferers?
Jesus answers our question with his invitation: ‘Come to me… for I am gentle and lowly and you will find rest for your souls.’ (Matthew 11:28-29)
Prompted by Jesus’ invitation (and Dane Ortlund’s excellent book, Gentle and Lowly from Crossway, available in Christchurch via Cornerstone) our summer series is an opportunity for anyone who is exploring what Jesus is like to come along and hear. It’s also a chance to be refreshed as we hear the good Shepherd’s heart for his sheep.
