In many parts of the world, it is not possible for Christians to come home for Christmas.
Some are displaced by civil war (Sudan); others by army attacks (Myanmar), others by Islamic groups assaulting Christians (Nigeria).
You’re invited to join in this appeal. The funds we raise will be channeled by Barnabas Aid to local churches to assist God’s people in need. These funds will be used to provide emergency relief, humanitarian aid, food and help to start life in a new place.
This appeal is commended by our CCA Mission outside the Diocese committee. As you you able, you’re invited to give funds in one of two ways:
- Give via bank transfer to our Redeemer Account: 01-0811-0866000-00 with the reference ‘Barnabas Aid appeal’ etc.
- Give money in an envelope marked ‘B. Aid appeal’ into our collection baskets over one of the coming Sundays.
Our prayer is that God would use the funds gathered from churches, including ours, to sustain the lives and the faith of God’s suffering people, for his glory. We’re running this appeal through December.
